This wine comes from clay-lime-soil vineyards located in the town of Valtuille de Abajo. It is mainly made with mencía and a small amount of syrah and tempranillo grapes, all harvested by hand. The grapes are fermented with autochthonous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and oak vats. The wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Its deep blackberry aromas are tinged with hints of chestnut, acorn and a floral background. In the mouth it is silky, opulent and with a perfect balance between the wood and grape tannins. It is very long and appetizing.
