It is a wine made with 100% mencía grape from the Lugo town of La Chantada, where the soils are on steep and sandy slopes. The wine is fermented in chestnut wood foudres and the vinification and elaboration follow the traditional method.

Tasting notes

It has aromas of grated chocolate, black pepper and lemon thyme. On the palate it has a marked earthy taste, being wild and, at the same time, very well structured and voluminous. A great wine!
